Win a Gift Basket from Lily Organics ($50 val) CLOSED

Photobucket

I love skin care products and have been lucky enough to try a lot of really great products that are out there, and Lily Organics is one that has not disappointed me! This company offers eco-friendly skin care and never uses any synthetic chemicals. They also offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee that you will LOVE how your skin feels in 30 days!

Lily Organics also offers a fantastic book titled, “Beauty, Health and Happiness: a way of life” that offers tons of really wonderful beauty secrets. There are recipes to make your own beauty products, ways to lead a happier healthier life, how to use herbs to make skin care products, and answers to how to solve common skin care problems.

After using Lily Organics my skin felt wonderful. For me, it was a toss up on my favorite items that I tried. I really loved the Nourishing Facial Cleanser as well as the Organic Moisture Mist. I loved how the mist sprayed on and made my skin feel smoother and softer without leaving that greasy feeling that a lot of lotions did. The facial cleanser cleansed my face and made it feel so clean, without that thirsty feeling that I have experienced with so many other cleansers.

Lily Organics is definitely a company you should check out! Not only are the products great, but the prices are not that bad at all!

Parabens. I just looked at my favorite lotion that I use all over, and saw paraben on the list of ingredients. Yikes!

gahome2mom said...

AVOID!!! Formaldehyde - Because formaldehyde is a suspected carcinogen that can also cause irritation and allergic reactions, avoid preservatives such as DMDM hydantoin quaternium-15, and diazonlidnyl urea, which release formaldehyde as they degrade.

I read that you should avoid Parabens because they mimic the hormone estrogen and may affect the reproductive system. I've heard of this before and have been looking into Paraben-free products.

I wasn't really surprised to learn to stay away from talc. For some reason I would start choking and finding it hard to breathe when I'm around that and have stayed away from it. Its probably from those early years raising my babies. That's all we had to use back then. Thank you so much!
