Okay, tell me I am not the only one who has a lil man that fights like a tiger when you mess with his ears? That means when its time to take his temperature it’s a no go! You literally have to hold him down to get that quick beep. I’m not a huge fan of rectal thermometers! I know, I know, I am a nurse and it should not bother me..and honestly if it was YOUR kid it wouldn’t. However, when it comes to my little man I am a big marshmallow! I just cannot bring myself to do anything that might bring discomfort to him, even when I know its in his best interest!
