I recently discovered a lovely product called Altru which means “unselfishly giving of one's self to others.” By purchasing Altru candles you help to support “In a Perfect World.” This organization helps children to become compassionate, socially conscious and responsible leaders.
Altru has phenomenal candles and other scented products. They sent me the Remembrance candle and WOW! It smells wonderful! I loved the name and the scent because every time I look at it I will think of my Daddy. This soy candle is grapefruit and rosemary scented. Rosemary traditionally symbolizes fidelity, commitment and remembrance. The smell is very similar to grapefruit, just grapefruit with a little spice, LOVE IT!! It releases an extremely inviting scent when lit and a soft glow. It is also beautiful! It is in a hammered copper vessel with a golden lining! Very eye catching to say the least!
Altru also has a huge line of scents and I love the name of each and every one of them! They have harmony, artistry, integrity and humanity among others. I personally would like to try them all! These candles can be bought at many of the finest stores including Neiman Marcus and are packaged beautifully. They really make the perfect gift!
