Since I have 3 little boys, I would love the cars, trucks, and planes kit! Audys room looks sooo cool! My boys would love it!



As I have mentioned, we just bought a new place and that means it is time to decorate! Since moving, my little man has been slowly easing back into our bed (I guess the move made him nervous) so we knew we had to do something that makes his bedroom more fun. I have worked with Stephanie from mywonderfulwalls.com in the past on a canvas print, which we simply adore. It was great to decorate our apartment without having to repaint…but now we were looking for something more permanent, so I contacted Mywonderfulwalls.com again. They agreed to send me the transportation stencil kit that matches his train canvas perfectly. Part of me looked forward to this project but the other part of me knew it would be hard work and I dreaded it! Surprise, surprise…this wonderful room only took 1 ½ days. The first day hubby and I painted the sky and ground and let that dry overnight. In my opinion that was the hardest part of the entire room.

Then on the morning of day two, we placed the stencils where we wanted them. These are self sticky so they were pretty easy to place once the excess plastic was cut off. The kit we received came with the paints for the stencils and paintbrushes and even a guide of which colors to use.

Once the Wall Stencils were hung, we began painting. This was really FUN and my favorite part. I loved that it allowed room for some creativity, and made his room fabulous! As a friend told me, “coolest room ever!” Now little man has a super cool room to show off to his friends and I hope he will be more excited to sleep in it by himself. Here is to hoping, he does not grow out of the planes, trains and automobile phase anytime soon! (also notice the 3pc train canvas we received from My Wonderful Walls this summer. We still love it!)
