Since losing weight I have become more interested in fashion. One item I always wanted to wear when I was heavier was banana skirt. I have always loved the boho look of them and how fun and flirty they are in the summer.

I recently contacted Monroe and Main to do a review and they agreed to send me the white banana skirt they have. This is such a pretty skirt, and is lined which makes it much better quality than some flimsy versions of this style I have seen. It is made to be incredibly long lasting, and you can just feel the quality when you hold it. I just love this skirt and have received quite a few compliments on it. I will say it is a bit longer than I expected. I am almost 5’9 and you see where to skirt hits. I would imagine it would be too long for someone that is of shorter stature than me. The sizing is just right too. I usually wear about a size 16 and as you can see, the size large fits me pretty well.
